Alaskan White granite is likely named for our largest state due to its bright white background that's reminiscent of natural white of snow, silvery blue flecks may represent the icebergs and glaciers of Alaska and deep onyx and rich chocolate veining to bring the Alaskan landscape to mind. What is Alaskan White Granite Made Up Of?

Alaskan White Granite is described by geologists as a porphyritic garnetiferous leucogranite from the Ordovician of Brazil. Made up of plagioclase feldspar, quartz, mica, potassium feldspar, and garnet.

Alaskan White natural granite is also very unique. Not just unique from other stone, but it is also distinct from other Alaskan White slabs. Choosing your specific slab is encouraged since each stone can vary one from another.
