Origin: Pantanal regions of Brazil

Also called Branco Piracema Granite, White Piracema Granite, Piracema Grey Granite, Piracema White Granite and Blanco Piracema Granite.

As with many natural stones, and especially most granites, the veining and color of Piracema Granite varies considerably. Some may look more white, while others primarily gray and others may seem blue in tint.  For that reason viewing a small sample at the Worldwide Granite & Marble showroom is typically not advised as sufficient for choosing this as your surface.  A small sample of Piracema granite is not likely to be representative of the whole slab, so we advise all our customers to spend some time touring our supplier warehouses with samples of your cabinets or other design elements for matching purposes.

During the polishing process for all granite - before it gets to the warehouse, a clear epoxy resin filler is usually used to fill any micro fissures or tiny pitting.  This process does not affect the integrity of the stone and also provides an even and smooth surface finish. This stone is especially good for countertops, mosaic, exterior - interior wall and floor applications, fountains, pool and wall capping, stairs, window sills and other design projects.

Favored by construction and design professionals for residential and commercial projects including kitchen, bath, dining and bar top counters, worktops, vanities, tiles, shower surrounds, backsplashes, shelving, flooring, fireplaces and memorials. Being frost resistant this surface is suitable for exterior applications as well - fountains, exterior counters, etc.

Colors in Piracema Granite:

Although Piracema Granites have less variations that Delicatus granite, all granites vary considerably and when you are selecting the right stone to complete a look, it's important to see the stone in order to select it. In most cases our customers prefer to pick the granite first, and then choose cabinet colors, flooring and paint colors to match their stone. Otherwise, it can be difficult to find the Piracema, or Delicatus or River Bordeaux or any other type of granite to perfectly finish the job. Once you select the slab you want, we apply the template (created with our specific measurements of your space) and the surface will be cut with precision and can be fabricated with a polished, leathered or honed finish.
